bought myself a 18th bday present

my 18th is in a few days so i got myself a present.

Remington 770 .300 winchester magnum as if i dont have enough guns and now the safe is jammed. lol but it was on sale so i couldnt pass it up.-taking it to the woods to sight it in this weekend might put up a vid?

my dad said he wants to video me shooting the 1st round through it because he think the 300s will kick too much for me. BUT i was 12 when i got a 6 pound 30-06 and everyone thought it would be too much for me even the rangemaster was like WTF and i was getting 1/2in groups @200yards the 1st day. next one im getting is a LAR Grizzly Bigboar .50BMG

and then send me some bear steaks when you drop it with one round LOL

man, i never found my bear from last year. hit it at about 100 yards with my 30-06 with 180gr Bronze points direct hit aimed at the heart. he nosedived kinda shook his head and got up and booked it up the mountian in lots of rocks and rattlesnakes.
he was a cinnomon color with a white chest and at least 400+pounds woulda been a very nice trophy and a record for the area.
- BUT the same thing happen to 4 other people last year, the bears were so fattened up from winter that the bullet wounds just sealed up real fast so no blood trails or anything and the adrenaline in the big monster was so high he probly went 2 miles before he dropped IF he died we looked for 2 days and never found him. really wish i had the 300 then.

cabelas has them on sale for $299.00 they also have the same rifle in .270, 7mag, and 30-06. i got the gun and two boxes of remington corelokt ammo for $360 after all the tax.
