heads up for password breach at some sites

Post by Limey SE on Tue Dec 14, 2010 9:45 am

Just a reminder from CarDomain to protect your password and private information.

The internet has security risks. In light of the recent happenings at Gawker (the company that operates Jalopnik.com), where commenting accounts were breached over the weekend and usernames and passwords were leaked, we recommend you update your passwords on all your online accounts. (For details about this situation please see this FAQ @ HAWKER ====>> http://cardomain.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=222d287493b8642d975297f16&id=9906dbbf08&e=a930cac7e6

This security breach is in no way connected to CarDomain, but we recognize that some of our users may have had personal info compromised through their use of Gawker's sites.

If you participate at any Gawker site and use the same password or username at CarDomain, we recommend that you change your CarDomain password.

Login to CarDomain and upate your password today.
