There's a guy next street over from me has one of those and a really nice '69 super bee. $59.000 for a AMC....to each his own I guess. Evil or Very Mad

My dad became a police officer in 1973, the era of 440 mopars, 460 F O R Ds, and 401 amc police cars. (Cleveland didn't have chevys in that era) he fondly remembers ambassadors powered by 401's as the fastest police car he ever had.

The earlier Rebel SST 1967 68 were better looking ,they had a nicer front. Pretty cool car though, he needs a Scrambler to go with it and a AMX

Agree. There's a very rare '68 Rebel SST convertible sitting at one of the yards up here. At first glance (and, from a distance), you might mistake it for a Roadrunner. Very cool car!
