The trim is steel pipe painted black that the previous owner installed, just bolted into the stock trim locations. I fine-tuned it a bit, trimming and filling some spots. It's nice not to worry about door dings in parking lots
As much as I'd like a functional Weiand 671 sticking through the hood, I think I'll end up replacing the stock 350 with a potent N/A small block Chevy.
I can definitely say my love of stock cars has influenced the look of my Monte as well!

Yeah thats it Tim . I forgot his name. Were did all the post from the group go Chris? THere was a lot of info on there. I was new to the internet then I couldn't believe how many more people had 2nd gen Montes !

Yep, Tim's an awesome guy, I've stayed in touch with him since buying the car and I keep him updated on all that I do to it. I felt bad that he had to sell it, he really loved this car, but he and I have similar ideas as to what should be done so its nice to be able to share it with him.
He seems interested in getting a 3rd gen Chevelle for his next project.
