Thanks, everyone!

The trim is steel pipe painted black that the previous owner installed, just bolted into the stock trim locations. I fine-tuned it a bit, trimming and filling some spots. It's nice not to worry about door dings in parking lots

As much as I'd like a functional Weiand 671 sticking through the hood, I think I'll end up replacing the stock 350 with a potent N/A small block Chevy.

I can definitely say my love of stock cars has influenced the look of my Monte as well!

Yep, Tim's an awesome guy, I've stayed in touch with him since buying the car and I keep him updated on all that I do to it. I felt bad that he had to sell it, he really loved this car, but he and I have similar ideas as to what should be done so its nice to be able to share it with him.

He seems interested in getting a 3rd gen Chevelle for his next project.
