Ah ha...you're talking about the textured metal strip that attaches to the "A" pillar? I've got one...think it's the RH side. Wouldn't be too difficult to pull the other next time I'm out picking parts.

I have both of those but I don't want to use them. I am going to get rid of all trim on the car. The piece under that is really thin. I want solid metal all the way down. I don't know if base models have that, but if they do I want to cut mine out and weld in the solid piece with no trim. If not I will make something.

Sorry...guess I still wasn't following what you are after. Didn't think there was anything beneath the textured metal strip running down the length of the "A" pillar; except for the structural pillar itself. Not going to be able to help with that.

you can replace the texured with NON textured.. monte with not vinyl or with a landau had different pillar trim than a full vinyl..

I had to switch mine when I changed to a landau vinyl top
