Nice, nice, nice not a GNX but still, I remember when these cars were 25-30k when new.

Re: 87 GN w/ 5600 miles
When i was a kid there was a real estate office near our church, and one of the realtors had a gnx. This was there daily driver and it showed. I wonder what ever ended up happening to it.

Back in 87 a friends cousin had a GN. I drove it once & the darn thing flew like a rocket.

Re: 87 GN w/ 5600 miles
I have friends Dave and Colette that have one. They bought it brand new. He took it to car craft last year with me. Here is a photo of it at car craft. Now the funny thing is its still the original tires even. Not sure how many miles I thing 25K or so. He said it has a lag until turbo kicks in so people can beat him out of the hole but then he fly's by a few car lengths down the road.

In one of the pics, you can see the old style Massachusetts inspection sticker. That sticker stopped being used 10+ years ago. Gotta wonder why its gotten so little use. 25k is on the cheap side these days. My brothers buddy paid close to 30 grand for a GN with a lot more miles.
Has anyone seen "Black Air"? yet. the GN documentary

I've seen GNX's go for over $50,000. Even a ****box GN can fetch over $10k, I think the person listing is either looking for a fast sale or they undervalued the car. 5600 miles might as well be a brand new one. It looks very nice in the pics.

Re: 87 GN w/ 5600 miles
Every one of my car friends around here has one of these in addition to a old car. My brothers is so freakin fast it feels like you are gonna go flying out the back window. My friend Mikes only has 22k on it mostly from driving to Englishtown and racing and driving back since new . I think I might need one too soon.

Phil where can you see that "Black Air" show? Was it on a cable channel or something?
Ant- you have to get a nice one though, the ones that are beat on will cost a boatload of money to repair, especially if the turbo is toasted.
Edit: Looks like DVD only :-(

Re: 87 GN w/ 5600 miles
The thing that's quite funny is that the Chevy Corvette division hated that car !! ..for obvious reasons
I would like to have one too. But I settled for a new black '84 Regal limited for the wife.

If I'm not mistaken, the Buick GNX (not this one in the add) was the fastest ever GM production car from like 87 until some of the ZR-1 Vettes started to out perform it. I can't remember what year for the Vette though but I think it was like early 2000's.
Do you still have the Buick?

No I never asked to drive it, the stock tires from 87 scare me a little.
I have this this thought what I don't know won't hurt me. Other wise ounce you feel that you will chaise the need for speed all the time.

Re: 87 GN w/ 5600 miles
It's funny in the movie trailer they refer to the GN as the kid that showed up at the prom with a leather jacket on for picture taking.
