New member, son of owner
Hi everyone, new member here. My name is Peter, and while I do not own an A-body of my own, my dad does. He is the very proud (original!) owner of a 1977 Malibu Classic. I live in metro Detroit, but my dad and his car are in East-Central Wisconsin.
Here are some pics of the car:

It just got a fresh paint job last winter, the first time it's ever had any kind of body work. Anyway, I know the gen 3 A-bodies are a lot more scarce than others, so I figured this place would be a great resource in case I need any information. My dad is computer illiterate, but I'm pretty internet-savvy (I own an LT1 Camaro and am pretty involved with the F-body scene). So I'm looking forward to taking advantage of the information and knowledge this site has to offer!

Welcome to the site! Very cool your dad is the original owner of this car...AND, it has actually survived the harsh elements of the Upper Midwest.

There's a good reason for that: the car has never once in its life seen salt. My dad has always been very particular about that haha. The guy that just did the paint said it was one of the cleanest cars he had ever done.

Welcome! I lived in Milwaukee for 4 years and that salt ate through the fenders on my daily driver! They started using cheese brine in a few parts of the state instead of salt.

Welcome to the site. Great looking car. There is an Off Topic section where you can post your other rides as well. We all love pics and I don't think it really matters if it is an G3 or not when it comes to pics.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody! My dad has certainly worked hard to keep this car in the condition it's in, and the guy who did the paint last year did a great job.
It's actually dark green with a green interior, not black
