Re: Bumper Rub Stips
Thanks for the info guys. That might look to busy if there are all kinds of bolts, I thought it might look like the car in the photo I posted. I know that you could get carriage bolts at a hardware store, I was just looking for chrome plated ones. Shaving the bolts Foose style would be great, but why rechrome a good original bumper? Plus, it's a ton of money these days.
I guess back to the drawing board, and hoping a NOS strip shows up.

Here's an Elco that has them shaved. I wish I would have seen this when i had my bumpers rechromed.

Who's that on the hood? I can't tell if that's Paul Stanley, Jim Morrison, or Edward Scissorhands.

Those bumpers look awesome shaved, much nicer than factory. I am sure that was expensive, but it does look great!

Its Jim Morrison, its a tribute to The Doors. The car is called LA Women from a car club called Lifestyle. The whole club in general are really big into The Doors. This car was built in the early 80s, so it has that old school vibe with the coffin tuck interior and such. Google the clubs name, they are the cream of the crop in lowrider world.

Re: Bumper Rub Stips
When I bought my car the strips were gone. I bought some marine grade stripping but thought better of it. Bought another bumper and figured I'd wait until they re-pop them (right!) or I luck on to a set.

Re-Bumper Rub Strips
Any update on rub strips? I've got the small bumper guards on my 74 Laguna and want to take them off. The rub strips were cut to put them on. Rather not drive around with the bumper guards gone and gaps in the rub strips.
