today i watched my 77' malibu classic leave my yard for the last time. after over 21 years of ownership (purchased in january 1988), i sold my car. i have wrenched on every nut and bolt on the car, turning it from a bone stock 305/ th350 car...into a 468 /powerglide, mid 10 second street/racecar (best et was 10.53 @128 mph, @ 3850lbs). i drove it in high school, and raced it for 20 years (on the street and the racetrack). this car was part of my family...my wife cried as it left. i didnt have to sell it, but i have 7 cars, and the malibu deserved more attention than i was willing to give it. i will always miss it !! thanks for everything...j

dont worry, the guy i sold it to is a personal friend... in fact i am building him a big block chevy to put in it (sold it as rolling chassis)

i'll go down my list of vehicles...1971 Furd pinto (tube chassis, ex-pro stock car, 105" wheelbase, bbc and glide for power), 1979 chevy camaro (street/strip car, 8-pt cage, 406sbc and th350), 1990 fullsize blazer with lift kit and 35" tires (mud truck), suburban with 454 (tow vehicle), caravan (go to work beater), 2001 stratus rt ( 2-door, 5-speed), ...and just sold 1989 trans am (black with tan interior), and obviously just sold the malibu. is it wrong to want one of everything ? LOL by the way ...you can ask moneypit...i really do have all these cars.

yes, it true. even the 79 camero was a buddies "back in the day" car. times are a changing, thats for sure.
