No issue at all. Manual steering cars like mine did not come with one.

The one I have on there is not that old & it leaks, that's all.

You can buy new ones. If you cant find it for the Monte ask for one for a 95 96 Cadillac commercial chassis (hearse, limo) same part.

Mine doesn't have one & it has power steering. I think it was standard on Monte Carlo, and optional(?) On Malibu.
