Read the whole story today, what a great feature. You should be proud. Great pics and great article. Like I've said before if ours turns out half as good I'll be more than happy! Congrats again

LOL, or wanting to be older.... used to wish I was 21 back when I was 17. Ten years later I find myself wishing that again!

Re: Congrats to 74Malibu383! PHR feature car.
I'd go back to being 16 with my knowledge. I'd have a mint 70 Chevelle, be getting ready to get a clean 76 Chevelle, & have tail coming out my ears again! Not to mention all the parties I was going to...

Throw my A$$ in there at 220lbs, and it's a lot of weight. I went for comfort and drivablility, not speed. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE going fast, you just need more HP to make it move.

Re: Congrats to 74Malibu383! PHR feature car.
"Throw my A$$ in there at 220lbs, and it's a lot of weight. I went for comfort and drivablility, not speed." That is also my philosophy(spelling?). When I had my engine built I went for drivability with a lot of cubes for torque and as small a cam as I could get without choking down my engine. It still lopes around like it had mexican beans in the gas tank, but it has great drivability. A big block has to have a lot more cam than a small block, so a mild cam in a big block will actually be a bigger cam than a small block with the hottest cam you can put in it. JB

I just got this mag today as well. Congrats to 383Malibu and his amazing ride, although I hate you now for making me want to go out in 20 degree weather to work on my car...

Re: Congrats to 74Malibu383! PHR feature car.
Don't feel bad about not finding the mag. It took me forever & when it popped up, I paid like $7 for it. Normally PHR is the first thing on newsstands each month. Wonder why the lag this month? All of the others came out on time....
