Very Happy You are quite welcome, yogreasygramma. Sorry to get off topic here on Cort's thread, though. My apologies to all.

That's the thing about getting old. You have all these memories and every now and then, something someone says triggers one and pretty soon you're telling the story. Many times to folks who really have no interest in hearing it. Thanks for allowing an old man to ramble on a bit. I'll do my best to stay on topic from here on in.

Happy Motoring,

Harry

Respecting others' cars - Page 2 Thumbsup Roger that! The war between the states was a long time ago, ant7377. The great-grandsons of Johnny Reb and Billy Yank are all Americans now and that's what really matters. And for what its worth, you are welcome to put your feet under our table anytime.

No matter what state we call home...... Those of us who truly love our country must set aside old differences and unite to set right what those who have spent the past 12 years dividing Americans one against the other in order to orchestrate the current power grab in Washington are attempting to do.

Why? Because its bad for America and its bad for Americans. All Americans...... No matter which side of the Mason-Dixon line our forefathers hailed from.

Welcome aboard y'all,

Harry

corvette_jeff wrote:I'll even yell at other people if theyre touching someone elses car without the owners consent, at a carshow a long time ago(i was about 13) i saw some guy leaning against the hood of a nice 65' chevelle looking at the engine, i went up to him asked him if that was his car and all that then started yelling "DAD!!! DAD!!!! SOMEONES LEANING ON YOUR CAR!!!" Very Happy he didnt even get near that car again Smile

LOL...that's AWESOME, Jeff! Shoot ... wish I would've thought to do that a couple of times in my car cruise night days. My goodness ... the nerve of some people at car shows ... just ... flabbergasts me!

hotrodredneck wrote:i like to arm myself with a super soaker squirt gun at the car shows!! when anybody touches the car.... WHAMMO!!!

*chuckles*

I like this solution.... I'm going to have to get me one of those next time I'm at the store Wink.

*grins devilishly*

Now, see ... I'd have that type of sign ... worded JUST a bit differently ... and only show it to certain ... females.

*rolls eyes*

Course, for that to work, I'd have to find a female who actually likes/wants me....

*sighs*

He he ... yeah, I was thinking the same thing, but that is fine. I don't mind the hijack at all. After all, it is a DISCUSSION group, is it not?
