I am looking at a front plate Bracket for the New SE will a 1974 Malibu bracket fit on my 1977 Bumper ?? I have access to one

I'm sure you could modify it to work. The 74 bumper comes to more of a point in the center. 77 is more flat. The license plate brackets attached from underneath, may be as easy as drilling two new corresponding holes that line up to your existing bumper holes.

It's been a long time ago, but I think I put my 77 bracket on my wife's 74. It must of fit just fine because I know that I did not drill any new holes.
