inners
We just finished these inner fenders - I didn't think that I would like them after painting but they came out real nice. We had to redo some cracks and replace a couple of small pieces along the side so they had to be painted anyway I guess. My son did them in base/clear - will have to be real careful when we put them back in.

Re: inners
I did mine the same way, After a few years I seam to have lost some adhesion, the paint chips real easy, I have some the size of a fingernail. Cover them when you do any engine work.
They look nice and are easy to clean.

Re: inners
Should always use an adhesion promoter before painting plastics. Bulldog is a great one, use it all the time

Re: inners
thanx - my son uses all Sherwin Williams products and has had great results. He did use a promoter for the plastic - we will see how that holds up. Time will tell but he knows that the car is his after I pass it down so he would use the right products. Hope to get it home from storage next week so he can start the wet sand and buff. Have a great weekend!
