'79 Caprice 9C1 clone
Hi, thought I'd share my b-body.
Always been a caprice fan, have had several daily drivers over the years.
Found this one in a barn. Been sitting 10 years. Car is in very good overall condition. Unmolested and original. Runs, drives and feels really nice.
Couldn't resist too make it look like an unmarked vehicle.
I decided the stuff I added HAD to be real law enforcement stuff and as period correct as possible.
Unitrol Touchmaster siren/PA, Whelen dash light, Unity search light, Setina push bumper etc.

Nice. We had a beater '78 2 door when I was a kid. I had a really nice '86 2 door in the late '90's.

Hehe, I had a few beat up Caprice's too.
I am keeping it do that I can turn it back into a regular caprice in 30 minutes.
Well, except for the search light. That will leave a 1/2" hole though the a-pillar. Putting that drill through the pillar of a nice unmolested car was tough. I had to take a deep breath and just go ahead :-)
