Firewall insulation pad
Anyone ever change their firewall insulation pad ?? What company did you use? How did it fit ?
I'm looking at this one.

Guys have recommended to me to just "dynamat" the whole car. But I dont want to do the firewall with dynamat, actually GTMat is what I have and will be using on the whole interior.
Any opinions or experiences ??
thanks guys.

Re: Firewall insulation pad
I had replaced the hood mat a few years ago. It wss a good fit, (idk where I bought it from) although I remember having to buy the hold down (pins?) From another company. I have a different hood now, with no mat.

Did you also change the firewall pad behind the dashboard? Thanks

Re: Firewall insulation pad
I looked all over for a firewall pad when doing my Elco & couldn't locate one. Big job to change it now.

My dash is out so I'm thinking about changing it.
