I've never seen or had (10 of them) a 73 with a landau. I bet that was dealer or aftermarket installed.
Looks weird how it ends at the front edge of the window.

Dealer installed. If you compare the GM sticker price of $4665.20 with the Dealership itemized list of options and price of $4804.20, the difference is the cost of the Spec. Vinyl Roof ($139.00).

Interesting. I agree that it looks weird where it is placed, but ... it is also a bit intriguing. Almost like they were trying to mimic similar-style roofs on the late 1970s Ford Thunderbirds....sorta.
