Fuel injection is on!!
I decided around Christmas time to install fuel injection on my ride. A newer company called Fitech had a $100 rebate so for $800 I got mine. Finished installing using there fuel command center for the fuel and started it up today. I gotta say it is nice to just turn the key at any temperature and it idles and runs like my new truck.

Sounds good & looks good ! Fuel injection sure works better than the carb mixing valve that's 100+ years old !!
I believe Fitech was used on Johnson/Evinrude outboard motors a few years ago, and maybe still is. That company was bought by Bombardia some years ago. That company is Canadian, Skido, Learjet etc...

Last I knew they are in Riverside CA. Claim to be designed and engineered in USA.

Re: Fuel injection is on!!
My father has a 383 in his 66 chevelle, with the old edelbrock xc8 cross ram intake manifold. Im trying to convince to convert to FI TECH. 2x4 setup. We went to a local speed shop a few days ago, and was offered the setup and the needed items required to convert his low pressure pump and fuel cell for $2000.00. He still has a few hangups, but im still trying to convince him. I think it would really be good for his setup, but i have no real world proff, or friends using any fuel injection conversion. Could you give some insight to your install?

Looks great Bitter. Does that unit control the timing also? Looks like you've got the hydroboost up and running.

I have the 1200hp fitech and loved it. I ran e85 on an 11:1 454 with a aeromotive stealth tank. Im trying to sell it now and buy the dual quad setup for an 8-71 blower im going to install (not on the same 454 tho)

Re: Fuel injection is on!!
Install is very easy. I used the Fitech fuel command center. Easy weekend job put I took a few nights as I wanted to run all the wires in my looms and solder all connections. I also rewired my relays for my electric fan to run off the EFI. So far the tuning has been a snap also.
