Free Malibu
I’ve got a 77 malibu in California that I’m going to be cutting the floors and back window out of. I’m taking a few other little things but most of the body will be left. Long story short once I get my stuff I’ll give it away. The catch is that you have to get it and tow it away within a day or two from when I say it’s ready. Otherwise I’ve got to junk it. This is a desert car and is rust free. I’m looking to drive out the first week in April. Let me know if you’re interested.

Re: Free Malibu
The car is in California. I don't have a way to get it here. And I won't be giving it away if I did! haha Seems like it would be worth the trip out to me. Good fenders, quarters, hood, etc, etc. I just can leave it where it's at for very long. I wanted to give someone here a shot at it before it goes to the crusher.

Re: Free Malibu
Sorry I misunderstood I thought you were bringing the car back to Maryland and then taking off the parts you needed.

Re: Free Malibu
I'll get pics up as soon as it gets over to my sons house. Hopefully today or tomorrow.
Just to be 100% crystal clear. You take the whole car. I'm not parting it out. I need to be able to get it out of my sons place as soon as I get my stuff. His wife's not to keen on having it at the place. They're not car people! hahaha

If no one comes and gets it and I have room I'll look at trying to get a few things for you. If so maybe you can give me some gas money for going out of the way to drop them to you? What are you looking for?

The other way and would be easier for me is to meet me . I’m going to be coming across on 40 and I think you might be quite a way for be to add to my drive. If no one takes it I’ll do the best I can to help you out.

Re: Free Malibu
That's one helluva long road trip for some floor pans. I'd think you could almost have the car shipped to you for what it's going to cost in gas, lodging, meals, etc. I do get you will get a chance to visit your son, though.

Yeah if he didn’t live there then I I’d do it differently for sure. I want to see him and his wife but I NEED to see my granddaughter! Haha

Re: Free Malibu
I get cars shipped to Ohio regularly for $900.
Might cost a few extra dollars to hire a local business with tow motor to load it on a flatbed..
Freight broker will find a driver delivering a machine or coil of steel, and add the car to their haul.
$900 is a good price for a solid parts car.

Nice. I'll check them out. Thanks. I'm doing this trip because I want to see my kid and his family but I've got my eye on another one out there.

Is there a specific one you use? About 100 different ones come up when I google Freight Broker.
