Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been researching seat foam for a set of swivels I am having reupholstered and the most reasonable price I have found is at speedway motors. I got them for 140 a piece and got on their mailing list so they give me 10 more dollars off of that. It comes from PUI and it looks great. Now I just need to find good upholstery. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about getting black vinyl with velour inserts. Pros and cons s anyone? Scott

I have the black vinyl with the velour inserts in my 73 and I really like them (back seat also)
they aren't hot in the sun and look very nice.

Love speedway motors.
They have some nice sale events during the year.
My swivels are cloth.
Dont think anyone makes cloth replacement covers.

I'm guessing the cloth swivels came from a Monte?
Dont remember seeing cloth swivels in anything else.

Just FYI, decades ago as a young fella, I owned a 75 Malibu Classic sport coupe. Purchased in 79 with low miles. It had a black cloth interior with the swivels. No vinyl on the seats anywhere. It was unmolested except for headers and mag wheels, so I believe it to be correct / oe interior for the car. I currently own a 77 Malibu Classic with swivels transplanted from a Monte and they are cloth / vinyl combo.
