Amazing how I see this all the time........you can't sell it, and then you re-list at a higher price. I first saw this at $1,500, then at $2,500 and now at $3,500!!!!

The next listing for it will threaten to send it to the crusher if it doesn't sell for $5000

haha, yep i remember seeing one recently that said that.
it actually looks like it could be a good project, especially at $1,500 and at the time i half thought about getting it (like i need another one). at $3,500 i will definitely hold off.........

It's back down to $1,500 today.........hopefully someone will snag it at that price. If I didn't have the county on me, I would make the drive down to get it.

I don't know how things are in CA...but, here in MN the lack of a title would certainly cause concern with Buyers.

A long term Arizona parts seller I know states if you price stuff too low - viewers will think there is something wrong with it. It might explain the "Desert Valley" phenomenon. They regularly sell parts for three times the price, what an individual struggles to sell for. Many midwesterners will complain about the shipping cost for such a car as this '73 Chevelle, but spend thousands repairing a vehicle from up there instead. Not to mention the man-hours of the bodywork. And hidden rust in seams which will return.

Cost me about $800 to have a Ford Explorer shipped from Scottsdale, AZ to Mpls about 7 yrs ago. Money well spent to get a rust-free vehicle.
Personal observation I can share about Desert Valley Auto. I was down there in Phoenix area a few wks ago making my annual family visit and I always make a point to run over there at least once during my trips just to see what's new. This time, I went over there two separate days...each time around mid-day. They have a sign-up sheet at the front desk after paying your $2 yard entry fee. I noticed each time that there were less than 10 names on it up to that point for that particular day. Even during my 2 hrs or so roaming the yard, I maybe encountered one or two other people looking around. I think they've alienated most of their local customers with their high prices. But, they must be selling their stuff to someone! BTW...with the exception of a red '75 Malibu, there was nothing new in the yard from a year ago that I saw for our G3 cars.

DVAP is thin on parts for popular '64 - '81 GM cars. Walked their yard close to two years ago and they had a tremendous amount of "oddball" stuff - Large cars, Off Brands, etc. If Phoenix wasn't so expensive, and could find a similar property there to what I have here, would have moved there and sought employment with them, while merging my collection in with theirs.

All over the map. A independent with an open trailer might charge high hundreds, or probably a grand now to do the LA to Minneapolis run, while a high end carrier - Reliable, Horseless Carriage, etc. will be close to $2200 or more.
