5th digit of the vin being a "0" raises a flag for me. That digit would designate the engine code. Zero is not an option.

Back to the vin issue. How would you register it? As soon as dmv punches it in it will come back as "does not conform". Hopefully the seller just made a mistake on the post.

Just Talked to owner of it on Phone gonna send me better Pics and details BUT ITS $275,000.oo NOT 275 bucks was Built By Evernham as said in earlier post He won it in a Contest few years back and just doesn't drive it he said, I asked if it was street legal he said wellllllll that would depend on your state LOL More of a show car he said

Pipe dreams for sure on this you can build same vehicle for under 17k all tubular arms and posi PAYING FOR THE Dale Jr / Evernham connection build has a B&M style shifter would have made the interior alot better

Wonder what they valued it at that year as the base for his taxable winnings if he won it in a contest? May need to send it off to Barrett-Jackson so some drunken high-roller with a buxom blonde hanging on his arm will bid it up that high!

As far as the vin goes, I’m sure that is is a mistake. By the way the ad is written I would assume they do not know much about the car. They claimed it was driven by Dale jr but on the show it was driven by Al Unser jr. On the show they mentioned it as a 1977 but it has the round headlights(looks like 74) and a 75 Malibu grille. It looked like a nice car before the started.
