I have a posi rearend with if I recall correctly 4 10s or 4 56 gears that I removed from a 73 sprint years ago also has aluminum drums

Both the gear ratio and aluminum drums sound non original to me.  Thought highest ratio for 1973 was 3:42.  We’re aluminum drums an option?

Highest ratio for our cars was 3.42 which came standard with 4 speed. I have a 4.10 rear in my car right now and its not fun cruising anywhere. I take off from a light in 4 the gear with no engine bog.
