Who do you like for 73 seat upholstery? My front seat is probably repairable but it needs new foam anyway so I would like to replace the vinyl anyway.

Acme headliners. They sell everything for the interior. Rockauto has some listed on their site if you take a look. Acme has been making original interiors since I think the 30s. Quality is excellent. I paid $80 or so for my headliner. If you do order from rock auto always google "rock auto code" and you'll find a 5% off coupon.

BTW, acme headliners website isnt great. And their emails take a while to get back to you. And you have to buy from an authorized retailer which they have listed on their site.

Did the SMS headliner come with the steel bows needed to install it? Or do they use the factory style T head plastic mounting strips sewn in already? Do you have pics of your installed headliner you can share?

My 73 chevelle did not have steel bows from the factory. They had a long plastic piece, sewn to the headliner and it had "T" shapes up top that slide into slots on the roof. The acme headliner I bought has a steel rod that you slide into the pocket sewn into the headliner then they give you plastic "T" clips that you snap onto the rod. They snap on with a nice tight fit and can be slider where need be. Just fyi
