I like how he includes the picture of what it could look like. Talk about selling the dream. I hope someone we know picks it up.

That would make a great project car for sure. Wish he had more pics. Says 454 but GM literature says the 400 was the biggest engine offered for the 75 model Laguna. I wonder if this car has the original engine that "slipped by" before they pulled the 454 out of production?

Re: 75 Laguna- NoCal
If the original color of the car is the same as the "what it could look like" pic, i might actually consider it. Â Outside of lime green, it's my favorite slope nose Laguna color. Â I emailed him a couple days ago for a picture of the cowl tag, but no response. Â Will try again, but if he doesn't respond, i'll move on. Â It's not like I don't have enough projects I won't get to, lol.

Hey. You have as many cars as g3chevy! You need one more project! I would also like to see some more pictures. Try to get one of the big block if you can. Since it’s not a numbers matching car you can make it a blank canvas. Make a lime green big block Laguna. I’m big into the “Roll your own” way of building cars.

Re: 75 Laguna- NoCal
I agree- it's your car, you should enjoy it however necessary! I tend to go for stock colors, and all everything else goes......unless it's an all original car. I felt a little bad upgrading the suspension and rims on my '73.
Apparently sale is pending. I'm glad, will avoid me just having to buy another car.

Re: 75 Laguna- NoCal
GM offered a 454 in the Chevelle platform for 1975. However, it was only available on vehicles built BEFORE January 1, 1975. Laguna production did not start until after January 1, 1975 so in theory there should be no 1975 Laguna's with a factory 454. I say in theory because I have owned vehicles from that era with factory engines that were never offered in the vehicle, and we were the original owners!

That’s awesome Iggy. It would be cool if it were a true Laguna unicorn.
