RIP Jim Wangers, best known as father of the GTO, but also involved in the development of the Pontiac Can Am, Mustang Cobra II, Volare Road Runner, Aspen R/T, Hornet AMX, and others. Mr. Wangers was 96 years old.RIP Jim Wagners Pontiac Fame Fb_img24

I had known Mr Wangers since 1963.

He is the one that got us our cars and parts through Royal Pontiac.

He truly lived the life that I, and many of us, aspired to.
