Just curious as to why you all choose the Screen Name or Handle that you did?

Ill start,
I started out with GreenChevelleSS which I have the 1970 Chevelle which hopefully one day will be Green, but Its primer black right now so its now BlackChevelleSS.

My name is Jon. My last name is O'Neal.
Unfortunately that's not where I got Jonny-o.

It came from the highschool days... me and my girl riding in the back seat while my buddy and his girl were up front. We got bored in the back seat and all of a sudden they heard my girlfriend moaning while riding my face like a cowgirl. Later that night my friends girl couldn't get my attention and yelled across the crowded bar "Jonny! OOOHHH!"

It stuck.

JiMi_DRiX is a mix up of a couple nicknames. My last name is Hendrix, and in the 7th grade I met a friend who would always call me Jimi. He'd yell it from across the school and I'd always know it was him. That nickname stuck all the way through middle school and high school, and even after. Last year that friend passed away, and the nickname means even more to me now. "DRiX" well, thats just short for hendrix, and there are always way too many mikes!!!

I dont know what shows up on my email. Did you know that yours comes up as "Donald Trump"? Laughing

CKY0396 - CKY is my favorite band. the numbers are the year I graduated HS, and 96 is part of a song title, "96 Quite Bitter Beings", its a verrrry old screen name!

Or does "Camp Kill Yourself" show up? that is what the acronym of CKY stands for. Its very 80's slasher horror movie related. The founder of that band is a total 80's horror movie buff.

I have a special last name , which is actually the composition of the name of two castles in France .

I'm a Navy man , joined in in 1983 as a Petty Officer engineer , I was sent after the Naval School to a minesweeper , came there on board , showed my face to the Chief , the guy saw my name , asked my if I was a Baron of something like that , at that very moment , a sailor came through , heard this , told it to the remaining of the crew and my nickname was born ...

Since I was 19, I've been buying, selling, and fixing radios. (commercial 2-way, not CB) One of my hobbies is amateur (ham) radio. So, "Oidar" is "radio" spelled backwards.

aka the beast back in the day when i had my first 74 chevelle all my friends had some type of older car 2 cameros 2 mustanges and me with my 74 they used give me whoa nelly for having this old car butthey all learned that it was a beast so they all started to call it the beast and i loved it so thats why i kept the name
