lol sorry IMO those trucks make me go YUK!! 70s silverados were ugly. then in the 80s like 84s in black and slammed with a 383 stroker and phantom grille yes me like! and of course the duramax trucks now drive like a car and are beasts. that elky is noce though

73-87 were esentially the same truck minor cowl and grille changes but same body lines had an 82 with 77 box and 82 tailgate no one knew the diff

Body moldings can be shaved like on my brother's 75. Sorry don't have a pic though. I like the round headlights myself. Throw on a tube grille with a roll pan & they really start to look good. Not to mention a 455 is just a pair of diesel frame pads away. Twisted Evil

I always enjoy seeing old ads like this to get a glimpse of what it would have been like buying these cars new.

That dude definatly would have ripped you off ,sold you undercoating or paint protection (coat of wax) .I like those trucks they dont ride as good as today but they were tough and simple the way trucks should be.
