just destroyed another harmonic balancer (dont ever buy parts from autozone)
does anyone know of a good harmonic balancer under a 100 bucks

Summit works. Also try going to your local machine shop. Usually they carry balancers for decent prices, especially if you can find one that does work on circle track cars.
