Ansen Sprint Pictures?

Well I've almost decided on the American Racing Ansen Sprint.
Sadly, the widest wheel they make in this style is 8 inches with 4-1/2" backspacing.
Is anybody using this size and style of wheel? I'd really like to see some pictures before I drop $600+ bucks on new wheels.
OK, before I get a ton of replies, I know there is a picture on the American web site, as well as the Summit page and several others. Also there are tons of pictures of cars with slot mags of some description.
What I'd like to see are some good close pictures of the same 15 x 8" wheel currently offered by American Racing but actually on a car. Preferably, a G3GM.

they make them in 10" also. I know ive seen them. Might be older tho.

i think the newer slots have a flatter look than the originals and the holes aren't the same shape- bigger i think- they just don't look right to me.
but they do use regular acorn lugnuts and aren't unilugs, so they've got that going for them.

I know "somebody" made tens at some point, but now, all American Racing makes are 7's & 8's

As far as I know, American is the only one currently making them at all.
The reason I wanted to see a pic of the currently available wheel is that "flatter look" is what I wanted to avoid. I really like the deep dish style. Is that the difference in the "offset" I see in some wheel specs?
From what I've seen, even if I found a set of used ones in good shape, I'll have to pay new prices to get them and they'll almost certainly be missing the caps which may not be easy to replace.

i got my slots by trading a rusty 89 Subaru something or other that i paid $100 for.
they didn't have caps- but a quick look thru www.jegs.com netted me some nifty billet Weld center caps with o-ring retention for something like $9 a piece.
a quick scrubbing with some degreaser and a fine scotch brite pad, and they had that "just right" satin bare aluminum look.
now, if i could jsut figure out a way to make them be not unilugs and use acorn lugnuts- and maybe get them machined more accurately so they aren't such a beyotch to keep balanced- then they'd be the ultimate wheel.

what is that last rim? never seen one like it before.
actually, i've never seen Cragar slots like those, either. they look kind of goofy with the center all bulged out like that.

dude, ive got the holy grail. 15x10s on the back and 15x4.5 on the front got these sprints for $100.00. did a quicky polish last year. will do a most excellent polish this spring. will post pics soon. also, might have some rims for sale soon. they look like the 84 85 gn rims, 15x7 and 15x8s. were on the car last yr. nice rims. couldnt pass on the slots, though.

The wheel wells on these cars are absolutely huge! I've got 19x8's up front and 20x10's in the rear. Backspacing is 5" up front and 5.75" in the rear. I started with 245/35/19's & 305/35/20's, but after three burnouts on Power Tour, the rears are gone. So, I just ordered some 315/35/20's and am changing the fronts to 275/35/19's.
Bottom line: It's worth the extra money in my opinion to get the right backspacing. You can fit massive skins INSIDE the wheel wells without the need to raise the rear.
As far as changing your mind multiple times, I did the same. I currently have some 15" chrome smoothie rims with brand new tires taking up space.
