I bet it does. Mine is beginning to collect dust due to lack of tools and money. Almost got all the tools now though.

It's coming along well! I still need to get all the gaskets.
dont forget to replace that tranny front seal while you have the motor out.
Dumb question but I'm not that familiar other then the basics on engine work. On the front seal, will that cause it to leak in the "front" of the tranny were the engine and tranny meet? Think i answered my own question, but just want to be 100% sure. I had the engine swapped a few years ago and in the beginning of last year i noticed it had a small tranny oil leak right where they both meet.
Engine looks really good Kyle.

The front transmission seal just loses its elasticity after a while, and the slightest movement fore/aft can disrupt the seal and cause a leak. It's also a safeguard to do this if the engine is out because it is easier to do at that point.

Re: 1974 Monte Carlo engine & engine bay restoration.
I did. But there was really no good way to salvage it. And the P/S pump had to be painted...would have looked like s#!t on the nicely painted engine. It didn't say anything it it anyway.

Yeah, I couldn't either. I saved the two original gears and the chain.
Believe it or not, the new ones were made in America.

Underneath all of the dirt and grime, mine was gray. It was nice, so I'm not touching it.

Looking good so far. Are you gonna replace the motor mounts while it's all apart?
