Need your opinion again
I am still experimenting with "what color for my car". Do you think this color looks good on my car? Do you think one solid color would be better than two tone? JB[img][/img]

Re: Need your opinion again
I'm on my 4th El Camino of that generation, but have not owned a two-tone, which I like, depending on the colors.
And not to muddy up this thread, I have the trim for a two tone, that wraps around the rear, across the tail gate. I bought it by mistake, off of Ebay a couple years back.
JB, what color is the interior?

I think that color is definetly a head turner. The window tint compliments the color of the paint, and the way the pin striping is laid out compliments the lines of the car. It's a great plan.

Do you think they'd let you get away with green side markers? Cus that's the sh&t also.
My brother-in-law had a green 74? Cutlass, he made greenish/yellow tinted headlight covers and it looked really sharp, but he got a few tickets then he decided to take them off.

Pila, the interior is vomit green, also known as Apple Green. I hate that color interior, that is the reason I have to stick with a green exterior. I would dye the interior gray or black except it is in mint condition and I hate to alter it. JB It can be seen here http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/19847223

Re: Need your opinion again
I know what ya mean about the green interior. My '75 body had that interior, which I removed, and put the interior of my "late" (scrapped) '77 in it. You are kinda stuck for exterior color selections, so the green exterior is gonna be in the running for a choice.

Re: Need your opinion again
Dark green like the 73 would be an option.
I think having the molding for a two tone would be a great reason to go two tone. Maybe have that dark green as one color & a light green as the contrasting color?

IMO, with the side moldings it would look better two-tone.
