The Girls
Just thought I would share a picture of a couple of my other cars, the 68 RS I'm still working on, and still have the interior to finish. The 70 RS/SS has been done for a quite a while.
The 70 is a full numbers matching car with the 300hp 350/t350 with a 3.08 12 bolt posi. I bought this from the original family, and it had been sitting in their garage without being started for over 16 years.
The 68 isn't a numbers matching car, but now sports a sb 406/t350 with a 3.42 8.5 posi in it. The motor is pretty beefed in this one, but it was a real turd when I brought it home. It had been sitting in a driveway for about 5 years.

Re: The Girls
Are they both sporting the aluminum wheels from S10's? I like the look of them! They make the cars look very modern, yet they also have a classic touch to them.

Re: The Girls
I get a lot of compliments on the 70's wheels, and they are sisters, so I thought I would tie them together with the same wheels. They are xtreme wheels. They both have them, but in one picture I hadn't gotten the front end aligned yet, so I just had the scrappers on front so it wouldn't tear up the new tires.

I dig the color on the 68. What is it? Also loving the 70. I wouldn't change a thing on it & those wheels look right at home.

I'm a big fan of that look. Using modern, larger, yet still factory wheels really works well on many levels. These two cars prove the point exactly, very nice.

Re: The Girls
My favorite factory wheels ever are the GNX/Trans Am black mesh wheels & the 94-96 Impala SS wheels. Just too bad no one makes them in 17" or larger sizes with offsets that would fit our cars. Oh well, at least I can have my Vette wheels. After seeing these Extreme wheels on a muscle car, I might have to look into a set some day though. Very nice!
