How many G3s have you had

I'm sure this has been covered before but, I couldn't find one. How many and what have you had and what all you got now?

USED TO
1976 Malibu
1976 Malibu
1977 Malibu
1977 Monte Carlo
1977 Malibu
1974 Chevelle
1976 Laguna

HAVE NOW
1975 Malibu

Now that is pretty sad, isn't it...All the used to's were by the time i was 24. I was always looking to try to upgrade growing up in the midwest without a lot of cash or knowledge to work with on those half rusted hulks. Being young, it was hard to have patience and just fix up what you got/had the way you wanted to. Hell, $1000 was the most I had ever payed for one of em.

The only way I can make a list is of all the El Caminos I have/had. 59, 60, 64. 74 & 78. JB

12-73,10 of which were swivel buckets,only 1 was a factory 454.

1977 Cutlass Salon back in the day...owned from 85 through 90.
1977 Malibu Classic being restored & customized...bought this past November.
So that make a measly 2. Very Happy

Total A Bodies? Eight.

Total cars during high school? Six

Total cars so far? I honestly lost count, but I want to say I've had about 36-37. I'm not even 30 years old yet, lol.

Been there before. At one point in time I had eight vehicles. Two 71 Chevelles (if you count a shell as one), a 72 Cutlass, & a 76 Chevelle were part of that herd. Glad to have knocked them down to just four cars at the moment & hoping to drop that number down soon to just two or three.

No G3's, but in my family, we've had 4 Monte Carlo's. My parents had a very nice silver with red interior 75 when I was 5yrs old. My dad later purchased the 76 Monte (that I now have) in the early 90's. It was a yellow with tan interior S coupe. My dad bought his 73 S coupe in 04 or 05. and I bought an all original 73 Landau in 05, that I later sold.

My dad also had a 75 or so Cutlass when he was in high school, black with swivel seats, the rear end jacked up with big tires, no picture of that one though..

I think the 1 car and family hand downs are great examples to help motovate in keeping your ride. Lots of us say we wish we'd a kept that one (or 20)...lol.

I love owning an operating my grandfathers old car. It's not a G3, and he only had it about 3 years before his death. But he loved it and wanted me to have it.

I know what you mean, my grampa gave me his 78 Impala back in early 90's. Loved that car, funny thing was my lil brother and I were the first ones to take a ride in it when he bought it at 1 year old.

I've owned two. my '76 Malibu Classic sedan that my parents bought brand new, it was the car I came home from hospital when I was born a few months later, the car I learned to drive in, and the car that took me all through high school and most of college. It was also the most reliable car my parents had owned during the 80s and 90s. I drove it for 8 years before rust and lack of funds/space had me let it go. I hated to let it go, considering it was truly a one-owner car, but in 2001 it wasn't feasable to keep it, and replace floors, trunk pan, and quarters. I parted it out and kept most of the parts from it, that have since found their way into my other cars.

Now I've got a '77 Malibu Classic sedan optioned nearly the same as the 76 except green instead of 'special order blue' It also has 1/2 the miles of the 76

My grandparents on my mother's side owned two, one a '74 with a 400 (?) and the other a '75 with a 350. They drove them for a long time and my uncle got hold of the parts. Therefore, I have a hood, and front fenders out back. I got mine and later found out they owned some. It was wicked cool to see poloroids of them in my driveway.

I have my current '74 that I bought in '94. When I was in high school (90/93) I had a rotted to Turd

'77 Buick regal that did good brake stands (and jumped rail road tracks quite nicely). Also my dads first new car was a triple blue '73 chevelle. Very Happy

And I'm looking for a new one now.seems 73 chevelle sold 77 Malibu owner is an ahole and the guy who has 75 cutlass won't respond so next on the list is 2 different 77 Monte Carlo

My Mom bought a 73 Cutlass Supreme brand new. She had it for 15 years until it rusted out so bad, so that when my love of these body styles started.

I owned a 73 Malibu in high school. Had it for 3 years and sold it.

Currently have a 73 Malibu and a 74 that is a complied car of a 77 grand-am, 74 laguna, 95 impala, and a 03 5.3 engine and trans.
