Scored Parts Car - 76 Malibu
Fella at church mentioned it outta the blue. 76 350/350, he bought it to pull the motor and tranny for a 50 Buick he had at the time and ended up getting rid of the Buick. Reverse is out, sat for about 5 years he said, drove it to the spot we loaded it from. looks to be original 77k miles. The car appears to be all there too. That top is wasted under the vinyl though.

Looks to be a fairly easy restoration project though, if you don't part it out.

Yeah guys, I know. It's tempting to save it, repair it and roll it and put the money back into mine. Everything I have to work with - money, fabrications skills and equipment, I'd end up taking a loss...and a brow beating from the wife...lol.

I'd try to sell it as a whole, as it sits, if you could still make a profit. Although I have no idea what the floors look like. But it could be a good project for someone at the right price to you. It'd be a shame to cut it up. If it was a bench seat, six cylinder car it might be a different story. Great find either way.
