Re: Streetfighter
I guess a much as it takes to get that look, my car would probably be closer to the yellow and black Chevelle, and from reading his build thread I have most of the basics for the build, just an upgrade of the suspension and some interior mods...
I like the fact that the street fighter idea is to DRIVE the cars and not worry so much about showing off the shiny parts...kinda appeals to me as i TRY to keep a budget

Re: Streetfighter
I like the cool look too, but is that the only wheel you can run on a street fighter?

From what I've seen the black wheel, Cragar 8 type look is popular, but there are many others with different wheels (as you can see mostly Camaros)

Re: Streetfighter
I like the Fikse wheels on the 67 Camaro, but they cost as much as a nice G-3 just by themselves. Nice lookin' though!

Re: Streetfighter
Even if I don't go as extreme as these examples I think it still give me some ideas to make my car different.
I do like the fat tires though
17x9 in the front and 17x10 1/2 in the back 285/40/17

I agree about the shiny stuff, but for me I lean towards the go more than the show and a daily driver than the queen on the trailer. It don't make sense if you can't back it up, (the look) !!!!!!!!!!

Re: Streetfighter
Funds for my vinyl wrap have gone out the window so it looks like another season in primer. Will pulling anything chrome and going to gloss black. Grill, head light bezel window frames, and window sweeps.
