Why Why Why Empty Why Why Why

Why is it not a requirement to have where you live on your info. I happen to be going to Oregon in April and can't tell who lives there. Would like to meet someone out there to say hey but to no avail cause half of you don't put where you live. It would also be handy so if you need a certain part you know if it's to far and spendy to ship. Just food for thought.

For security reasons, no one has to put their city on there, but it would be helpful if everyone has their state, or country on there.

Thanks guys. I guess I don't see the big deal of revealing your town and state. Maybe I'm wrong but it just makes things easier when you look at posts for sale or shipping purposes. Or maybe even meeting someone in person if you get that direction. It's not like you are giving out a blueprint to your house or shop.
