I like it, nice thing about '73 and '74's is they already have a double hump crossmember Very Happy . Your car looks like it has lots of potential. What's with the flames on the hood? Are you thinking of doing the whole car with flames? Question

Thanks. The story goes like this. Started taking an auto body class. Took off my good hood to do a little work to it and get it primed and ready for paint. Had family issues and ended up letting my good hood ruin. The one on the car that you see was from my 75 parts car which I was playing around with painting. I taped up the hood with freezer tape and cut out the flames with my pocket knife. I then painted it all with cheap rattle can paint, pulled the tape and what you see is what you get. I was 17 and didn't think very far into the future back then.

Wow. Not sure what happened, but my photos finally worked. Maybe I did upload them correctly and they just took a while to show up. Interesting.

In the lower pictures I had painted the top last fall with outdoor rattle can black. looks almost like a vinyl from a distance. Not bad for 15 bucks or so!

I call it copper or rust red, but I don't know the actual color name. It needs to be painted badly and some rust fixed.

Anyone know where to get some cheap patch panels for the quarters?
