Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
OMG, I even saw one guy put louvers on his headlight buckets on his '32. Naturally everyone raved about how great it was.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
I noticed you opted to go with the other spoiler experiment, (not the 74 Camaro spoiler), can I ask why? What came about with that spoiler? Are you willing to produce or sell them?

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
I wanted a lower profile that attached only to the deck lid. The other was three pieces and needed to be attached to the quarter. I actually have another three piece one partially done in my attic.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have a problem selling them. Esp since they aren't reproduced.Limey SE wrote:well Beginning to Look like the Limester should maybe make some copies of this Spoiler off SE how would people feel about that ?

"Please note we do not manufacture custom Rear Window Louvers"
I tried them already :-( I'm checking with a local tin knocker to see what it would cost to reproduce them.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
I've admired the look of that spoiler for a while Doc. If you decide to make some let me know also. I've been wrestling with ideas but the Camaro mod/SE style I think reflects the period correctness of these cars.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
That type was used on the Pontiac All American show car from 1974. I have never seen any copies of it made for any production cars, I have to wonder where these two came from. The black 73 is slightly different than the 74, because of the taillights and trunk angle.

Re: How to Build G3 Spoilers
The red car is a home made copy of the All American car. He is also doing the fender flares. You can see them in front of the rear wheels. The dark one was an aftermarket spoiler that was available at the time.
