cant seem to take mine off witout snapping it in half, i got some body work that needs done so i need them off any idears?

They go through the body and are fastened inside the car.  You need to remove the sail panels to get at the attachment screws.

Here's the repair which took all of 5 minutes with "JB Quick" epoxy.
