Hi Guys I wanted to start a new post for trips any one has taken with their cars. We have taken one last year to Iowa Cordoba race track that got rained out. So this fall we just got back last night from the Gun flint trail. (We can not seem to get a trip with out rain yet but we are trying to) We stayed in Grand Marais two nights. Went up the gun flint trail to the end the first day. Yesterday we drove up to Grand portage and then came home. Got home about 9:45 pm. Sad part is it rained the whole time Friday and Saturday. Yesterday was drizzly tell we got home. The road was real muddy But we had a blast. All ready planning a trip for next fall. Its so much fun to have people stopping to ask about the cars even in the rain they will stand out there talking away about them.

Kept getting asked where the car show is and we said the Mangy Moose (The Motel we stayed at) What a hoot.

Very cool road trip, Wally! Been years since I've taken that drive...but, this is a great time of year to do it while the leaves are turning. Too bad about the rain. Just be glad that snow in the Dakotas didn't make it's way up there...YIKES affraid

Ok MCarlo 77 you have a year to get that Laguna ready for next year. Its a nice small group that gets along with any one. Same ones we go to car craft with. So if you want to tag along you most certainly can. It would be great to add some new people.

We herd about that snow that would be some thing to run into on a trip like this.

Will have to wash car tonight its real dirty.

Way better than any car show I have ever been in or to. For me there is nothing better than just plane driving them.

Nice, looks a lot like the scenery in my favorite part of my favorite state; The White Mtn's up in NH. I was just there for Labor Day...maybe next year I'll be able to take that darn Malibu in my driveway somewhere nice. Glad you had a good time, sure looks like fun!

1968 Oldsmobile Delmont Convertible. He is the second owner and has had the car since college as that's was his car back then some 25 years past now. Original paint on it. his wife and I put the top on it 10 years ago and she did the seats. She is a Upholster also.

I don't do tops any more.

Thanks, I wouldn't have guessed that.  I don't think I've ever heard of a delmont.  But then again most people haven't heard of a dynamic 88 (that I have:D )
