I watched the 1st highlander movie again the other night. In the first fight scene, they are in a parking garage. There are several G3's in there, but the scene has several shots of them in front of a 1975 Malibu Classic in red. When the "energy" is flowing into the highlander, he is right in front of it. looks like they trashed a few in that scene.

the opening scene to Halloween 3 (1982) has lots of g3 action from about 3:50 to about 5:50 I count at least 3. Hell the bad guys are driving a '77 chevelle, the victem hides a in a g3 elCamino, and gets killed by one.
