77 Century featured in HOT ROD Empty 77 Century featured in HOT ROD

Post by Roadcaptain S3 Sat Jun 13, 2009 7:39 pm

Anybody else see the 77 Century featured in this month's HOT ROD? Thought it was pretty cool that Hot Rod featured the same kinda car that was this month's G3GM feature. It's a good lookin ride. Checked their website, but they didn't have any pics of it on there yet.
It doesnt quite match up to "Silver Bullet", of course, but it's nice. Guy's done a lot of work, including swapping a six for a 455. DARN nice paint and wheels.
They played it down a little calling it a "Slo Cruiser"- but i would think a 455 gets that critter moving pretty good.

I saw that car in person at a local cruise night last year .I tried to get over to see it and the dude took off before I could take a look .If I see it again I;ll take some pictures.

Our cars are finally getting some real street cred. It's about damned time, too.

With PHR and Hot Rod doing features on the 73-77 A-Bodies, I think we're ready to see a major upswing of interest.

Check out the 73-77olds.com forums.. a few members there have joined here (i'm one of them), and I know the majority of you own Chevies or Buicks.. but in the end we're both driving toward the same goal.
