windshield interchange
does anyone know if a front windshield out of a 76 GMC Sprint (or whatever their version of the ElCamino is called) will fit my 74 Monte Carlo?
that rock chip on the passenger side of the car from last year grew into an annoying crack that reaches almost all the way across the car right in my line of sight this year..
as much as i'd rather get it, new glass is damn near $200 just for the glass and i don't have that kind of coin laying around right now. found a nice enough windshield in a junkyard that i can get for $35, but it's kind of a waste of time and money if it doesn't fit..
might pop my windshield trim off and take it out there to compare it tomorrow..

i'm wasting my time by asking the question on a board that's dedicated to this style of car in an attempt to potentially save myself time and money?JB2wheeler wrote:Frankly, I think you are wasteing your time, but I could be wrong. I have been wrong before, I rememvber IT well. JB
a simple "no, it won't fit" is the kind of answer i was looking for.

Re: windshield interchange
i think you mis-understood JB i think he meant that it would be a waste of time to see if they interchange. the elky(sprint) have different roof angels EDIT: ANGLES NOT ANGELS
