Wallys old 74 project update
As most of you know I sold the 74 "Laguna" project a few months ago. Yesterday I got a text from Rowdy on a update to the car. Here is what he said and some photos.
I am down to the last prime and she is going to be slick last block sand will make 4 times I am going to send more pictures to day and I will send more after I get it painted ..Thanks for being up front on the car I just got_ a 70 camaro off her and it was stolen the police came got the car and took it and I lost my money .. I am taking it to court the guy I got it from got it from a public auction and he had proof off purchase its a mess.

He said he had the car bead blasted and it had no rust on it. I lost a lot of money I had into this car but that's not bothering me now. All I ever wanted was to save this car. I'm so happy that is finally getting finished. He used to be a body man and the shop its in is his first old hobby shop. He does not know what color he is going with yet but did ask if he could use same PPG's tri-coat candy apple as my 73 has. I sent him the paint codes and we will have to wait and see what he chooses. I'll keep you posted as I here from him.
Again let keep them out of the crusher and have fun with these great cars!

No The 73 was alone IIRC the 74 had similar front side mounts, but the bumper shocks were different

Herd from Rowdy he painted the 74 House of color Candy Orange. Its really nice when someone keeps you up to-date with the project you sold them.

Looking mighty fine! Did you put all the little "Pontiac" touches to it Wally? The one that I like is the T-tops. Way cool!
Also, is it still here in Minnesota?

No its in Tennessee I believe now. I bought the car with the body the way it was. Installed a 5.3 LS set up in it before I did my car. Now days its much easier to do these swaps. I was test fitting to make mine work.
Check out the way I got the car and build I did here.

Will be so good to see one back on the road and driving.

I remember you telling me at the Street Machine Nats that it was kind of a "test bed" for you and some of the drive train swaps.
