Hi again - a few weeks ago a fellow G3er asked me if I knew where he could get a front clip for a 73 Malibu since he put his car in the ditch and was having a hard time to find one. Another friend is building a 73 elco but putting a laguna nose on it and has the Malibu nose available. I have heard of some differences in the two but just wanted to check to see if the Malibu guy will run into any issues on fit using the elco front clip? Thx

Its a bolt on. Only differences between the laguna and malibu nose is the header panel. Laguna is rubber and the bumper is incorporated into it. He should have no problems putting the elco nose on the malibu.

BTW, the 73 nose should have plastic wheel wells. 74-77 are metal wheel wells. Not that it matters, either will work.
