Does anyone have any pictures of a plain type door panel used on the 2 door 75 Malibu's? I've been looking around to see if their was a non custom panel out there that was not like mine with the buttons and cloth inserts. I've seen one for the 73 Chevelle and that looks cool but didn't know if those would work on the 75. Here is what I have.

Damon mine is a 75 Malibu. Plain Jane as they come. I'll stop by and take couple of pictures of the interior on the way home from work tomorrow for you. You'll see just how plain they are.  lol

You can swap door panels (upper and lower) from any '73-'77 "A" body and they will fit. Exception might be upper panels on a Grand Prix due to unique armrest configuration with their backing plates. Even so, bet you could make those work, too.

When doing my interior last winter, I re did it in the original 1974 panels.  I then decided I liked the 1973 panels better, so I re did a set of those and installed them.  I like them better than the look of the 1974 which are like the ones you have shown.
By the way, the doors are from a 1975

Not exactly sure. Some say less than 1% got the powered sunroof option. It's pretty cool but like the newer cars it takes away a couple inches from the headroom.

Mine is just a 75 "Malibu" and not a "Malibu Classic". Bottom of the barrel I believe of the trim line. I'm thinking that's why they're so plain.
I would think if a person wanted a plain looking design, they would be able to make something like these. As these panels separate from the trim panels, you could go to a local upholster and buy some package tray board and make new ones. I bought some to replace my package tray and I think it's about the same thickness as the door trim panels. The piece I bought only cost me like $15. You could then cover them in the material of your choice. You could make them as plain, or as wild as you want.

Speaking of door panels. I bought the lower plastic panels from OPGI, and they look and fit like crap. I had to give up on installing them. The little plastic fastner klips on the back, is in the Wrong location all around. Besides that the panel itself look cheap and is cheasy looking. Just a heads up if anyone is thinking about investing in a set. On top of that they are expensive too. So i Got a Nice expensive piece of garage ornament. I live in Europe so it would be to expensive to send them back.
