Hello,

I need to reupholster the seats in my 1976 Grand Prix 50th Anniversary and found that Stock Interiors sells the front buckets\rear bench upholstery kit but with SWIVEL buckets, not standard buckets. Are the seat shapes different or would the swivel bucket seat covers work with my standard buckets? Confused ....

That has got to be an error.  There is no way those swivel seat covers will work with your seats. Aren't your seat backs upholstered separately from the bottom seat cushion in order for it to pivot forward?

thanks for the reply. Yes, the back is separate from the seat bottom. I haven't seen a swivel bucket in ages. Those aren't two pieces also?

Ahhh, I see. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll give them a call to see if they also have the pattern for the standard bucket seat which should be way more popular than the swivels ... thanks again.

I don't even understand why they would be listing a seat cover for swivels on a GP. That was never an option on them.

I would be curious as to what you find....my '74 SJ is in need of bucket seat upholstery, as well. Are there any other applications for replacement seat foam besides the GP? The upholstery to fit these buckets is bad enough, but the foam....wow.

The foam is available but a bit pricey. Ive also found another source for upholstery but only 73-75. not 76 or 77 ... PM me
