How to Laguna stripe?
My 75' Laguna is at the body shop almost ready for color. I will be going with the 2001 prowler orange again with the 75-76 style white stripes. My question is... What is the best way to lay down the stripes? Most I have seen pics of guys putting down the stripe color first then tape them off. Or is there an advantage to the main base color first then stripe color over that? Everything will be buried under clear so i'm guessing its just a matter of preference and easy of taping it off? Any input?

Re: How to Laguna stripe?
I prefer base color the whole car. Let flash. One coat of inter-coat in the stripe area. Let flash. Then tape up the stripes. With the inter-coat if stripe paint creeps under the tape you can sand it gently. No inter-coat then your sanding the base.
