Re: 76 Laguna
You guys are making me feel pretty good! Mine sat for 10 years under a tree, in Michigan.

I have been able to get a good cowl panel from California, rear and opera windows will need to be made by my body guy.

Re: 76 Laguna
That's pretty darn clean for being in Michigan. My first Laguna was originally from New York. When I bought it back in 1988 like the photo shows it was in really rough condition. All the floorboards were rotted as well as the trunk and roof. I did what I could with the budget I had right outta high school which wasn't much. But going from my 77 Malibu to that felt like a huge upgrade since it was fully loaded. I ended up selling it for 3 times what I paid for it 5 years later and got another 76 Laguna with very little rust that was originally a Texas car. This one I kick my self for selling. Anyways, looks like you've got a great foundation to work with on your car.

Re: 76 Laguna
I was happy to find it in as good of condition as I did. It is originally a California Car, right down to all of the original smog stuff still on the car. It was in Michigan for over 15 years when I bought it, but had sat for 10 of those years. The engine is pretty whipped and in need of a rebuild so it will be pulled and most likely take up spaced in my shop. I have a 383 ready to assemble, but my son is pushing me towards an LS swap - no matter what I do I will keep the original engine and trans to go with the car if I ever sell it. The body is solid except around the windows so my first priority will be getting the body work done, I can add mechanical after that.
